Six weeks ago, I wrote a letter to Lil Wayne (who is currently serving an eight-month bit on Rikers Island) to ask if he’d be interested on writing about the U.S. Open for SI.com. I enclosed a self-addressed stamped envelope and three leafs of SI stationery. Here’s his response, which arrived yesterday. Even Perez Hilton liked it. And it was the brilliant-most selection in New York magazine’s Approval Matrix.
